2019-10-29 to TNChattanooga with Seniors On The Go Tours (2 bus loads)
I traveled with Seniors on the Go Tours from Atlanta to Chattanooga on Bus Number 2. Previously, I've met many people who travel with the group and on this trip, I was able to meet many others. The drive is about 115 miles - but, I meet with the group in Lawrenceville - so the milage is increased by this drive. It was cloudy (but warm, about 65 degrees F) when we left Atlanta, but - the clouds parted and we had a wonderful, sunny - and warm day on the river. The boat left the dock about 11:30AM and we had a buffet lunch. The serving of the lunch was efficient and the food was good. Afterwards, many of us visited the ship decks to view the riverbank and trees. Normally, by this time-of-year, the trees have color - but, this year because of the warm weather they were mostly still green. However, I enjoyed the warmth of the deck and the view. About 2PM, the lower deck had a bingo game, but I stayed on the upper deck. We returned to the dock about 3PM and departed Chattanooga shortly afterward. A GREAT DAY was enjoyed by everyone.
