I really enjoyed the cruise with the group. We had musicians who play 'trop-rock' style music and we enjoyed getting together almost every day.
We gathered together on the cruise-ship Norweigan-Escape. We left Port Canaveral on Saturday afternoon, then had a sea-day and toured Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic.
Next day we were at Virgin-Islands, St. Thomas and the day after that in British-Virgin-Islands Tortola. Then we had another sea-day and our final outing was Great Stirrup Cay (with rented cabanas) before returning.
Our first 'special-day' was 'wear-pink-for-support-of-Breast-Cancer'. Then, we had a toga group-picture and dinner. Next day was "Gypsies in the palace" (a Jimmy Buffett song). Also, as seen in one of the pictures, we supported St. Patrick's day by wearing green clothing.
After check-in, we gathered to watch a rocket-ship space launch. Several countdowns were made, but there were problems each time and we never saw a launch.
